Actor Norman Reedus, who’s known for his alter ego Darryl Dixon on the cult hit The Walking Dead, is putting his Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired estate up for sale. According to The Robb Report, the 4,149-square-foot house is on the market for $3.85 million. The Georgia estate was crafted by New York City designer Shamir Shah, a proponent of master architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The designer is known for emphasizing nature, craftsmanship and simplicity. Shamir’s use of natural elements is apparent in each room, including the sizeable courtyard. Scroll down for a look inside this Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired house!
Nestled amid a wooded quarter-acre parcel of property about 30 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta, the limestone and granite structure contains four bedrooms and five baths. There’s 4,100 square feet of multi-level living space and a bonus room over the attached two-car garage
Large windows throughout blue the definition between inside and outside and look out to the courtyard and pool area.
The front door pivots into a main level, which has wide-plank white oak floors and high ceilings.
The living room is outfitted with a trio of glass doors spilling out to a screened porch that’s warmed by a stone fireplace.
The main floor is open concept, with a neutral palette and minimalist, low-slung seating.
The dining area has a classic mid-century touch: a long, built-in buffet.
The gourmet kitchen has minimalist wood cabinets, an eat-in island topped with natural quartzite stone, Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, two sinks, a wine fridge and walk-in pantry.
An upstairs primary suite contains a walk-in closet and dressing area, as well as access to a balcony.
A marble-clad soaking tub, dual vanities, and glass-encased shower are located in the large principal ensuite.
A pair of guest bedrooms also can be found on the bottom level: this one leads out to the courtyard.
